Former Pred Going Overseas?

Former Nashville Predator, J.P. Dumont, has found no team to play on this 2011-2012 NHL Regular Season. So, Dumont has been playing at local rinks playing Adult Hockey. At one time, he was playing with Steve Sullivan of the Pittsburgh Penguins at a Adult Hockey Open Skate. Both men have a family living in Nashville.

The NHL had a lockout for the whole season in 2004-2005. So, to play hockey, J.P. Dumont played overseas in Switzerland with Bern in the Swiss-A League. Dumont did only play 3 games in the Regular Season, but played 10 games in the playoffs. Bern got him so they could win their championship, slick move Bern. In 3 games in the regular season, he tallied 2 goals, 2 assists, and 6 penalty minutes. In 10 games in the playoffs, he tallied 4 goals, 1 assist, and 14 penalty minutes. Dumont was productive in Bern.

While I was walking around this morning at 7:20 at A-Game Sportsplex, a good friend of J.P. Dumont was saying that a Switzerland team he played in during the lockout has been calling him and wanting him to play for them. So, here is how I am saying it.

Bern, in the Swiss-A League, has been calling J.P. Dumont to play hockey for them this season.

I want your opinion on it…..

A guy’s gotta do what a guy’s gotta do. He has to make a living somehow. Besides, Switzerland is a beautiful country. He and the family just might have a great adventure there. Good luck to him in whatever he does!

Exactly! Thanks for commenting. I don’t think that any NHL player looks forward to playing in the Swiss-A League. Nashville is a great place to live, so I don’t know if he will go with his wife or let his wife stay in Nashville.

Thanks for reading, may I ask where you heard about this?
